hahaha..
i'm back!
today's my 4th day in jj..
haha.. peiqin, yuelin, eunice, jane, kiathan, weimin and kenneth are also in jj :D
1st day was quite boring and tiring for me..
because the teachers kept giving talks regarding this and that..
some talks are about the individual subjects, some about sch rules, acheivements and discipline and one on subject registration..
sat in the hall for duno hw many hrs.. when all the talks were over, my legs were numb..
saw a cher who looks alot like ms ho.. just that the cher is quite thin..
day 2 was FUN!
first, we choosed our subject combinations..
reunited with some of my ex-classmates frm jwps! omg.. it's been years since the last time i saw them.. talked quite alot.. and were discussing about the subject combinations..
there are only 2 choices available..
and i'm super confirmed that i want to study H2 maths, chem and bio..
so my first choice was class SC02, taking H1 GP, CL, PW, H2 maths, chem, bio, and the additional H1 was general studies in chinese..
second choice was class SC02 again (because of maths, chem and bio).. everything was the same.. except for the additional H1, i choosed geography..
was considering china studies in english.. bt i would be studying about modern china.. which i dont want.. i want to study ancient china.. so i choosed geography instead..
peiqin and eunice choosed SC02 as their first choice too! bt their additional H1 is geography..
haha.. although stood for very long due to the long cheer sessions, everyone had great fun.. hahaha.. the OGLs were super enthu and funny.. and they exaggerated the actions until it looked funny and abit retarded.. because they said that everyone is part of the idiot family! lols..
there're 4 families for everyone in J1.. so i'm in the idiot family :X
learnt some cheers way back in rc before.. so was quite familiarised with it.. esp the yipa a de ne cheer xP
and there's one cheer that gives everyone the feel of china..
haha.. sang lots of cheers.. bt i forgot some le :X
day 1 and 2 were the orientation..
so at the end of the day, we had mass dance.. and we had to learn the dance steps..
lols.. i cnt really grasp the steps well.. because i seldom dance..
day 3 was the start of mass lectures..
and the 1st lecture i had was bio! bio rocks! xD
so the lecturer gave an introduction about bio.. wad we'll be going to learn in these 2 years and the exam format and mark allocation etc..
started on the chapter of cells today..
still quite ok.. didnt learn much new things yet.. most were revising wad we learnt during sec 3 and 4.. bt there will sure be more coming up..
had GSC (general studies in chinese) aft that.. omg.. the class.. like only one tenth of it were singaporeans.. the rest were frm china.. jane and i was like.. omg.. they're too powerful le..
bt besides that, this subject interests me alot alot..
because i'll be studying about the current affairs in singapore.. and abit ard the world.. i'm interested in current affairs.. somemore it's in chinese.. so it interests me even more..
the lecturer said that it'll be like GP in chinese..
aft GSC, i went to chem lesson..
the lecturer taught about the mole calculations and stiochiometry all that..
it was like a sort of revision..
bt learnt some new things.. esp the three lines sign.. instead of '=' sign, the '=' sign has one more line.. and it's called the equivalent sign.. learnt about it before in amaths bt nt in chem..
it took me awhile to understand hw to apply the sign..
1130am! end of the lectures for the day!
bt the sch gate will only be opened at 1pm everyday.. so have to stay in sch..
since we had the time, we went to purchase our sch attire.. tried out and change.. and so time passes very quickly..
there was cca open hse at 2pm.. bt i nv go.. because i've sort of decided to go back to jwss rcy and take it as my external cca..
even if i didnt join rc in the time to come, most probably i'll be joining table tennis or r and d or yoga club..
i still cnt really make up my mind.. my decision kept swaying here and there..
nvm.. besides it's nt the time to submit the cca choices yet.. so i still have time to think it over..
as for today,
we had long breaks while waiting for our lecture to start..
8am no lecture.. so we had our breakfast and did abit of revision and work..
had chem lecture at 9am.. learnt more about the stiochiometry chapter..
10am.. break again.. for 2hrs!
went to buy waffles.. haha.. nt bad.. quite nice..
and studied chem.. did the tutorial qns.. some were quite tricky..
all of us were talking about a certain guy frm a certain sch who always asks qns during lectures and act like he's very smart like that.. ok.. i wont carry on describing.. if nt i will be very bad.. bt nt just us.. almost everyone in J1 is talking about him.. lols..
12nn.. chinese lecture!
haha.. it's a fun lecture.. although beginning it's abit boring la.. the lecturer was talking about the stories that we had to read.. the exam format and the mark allocation..
aft that, she talked about the listening comprehension.. regarding the music.. haha.. because the music plays for very long during the LCs.. and her 'blahblahblah' sounded identical to ms ho's.. hmm.. actually there're traces of ms ho here and there in jj :D
den about 看图作文.. dont be fooled by its name.. it's nt those pic compo that we did way back in P3 and 4.. haha.. although there's a pic provided, actually the pic was redundant la.. no nid pic, just the qn also can do the compo..
aft that a teacher in charge of choir came in.. asked ppl who want to join choir stay back.. i love singing.. bt only love to sing chinese, sentimental english, and some jap songs.. so.. didnt stay back la.. besides, i duno whether my voice can make it or nt.. lols..
went home aft that.. haha
