ALVINA TAN WAN LING.
she's our dearest hello kitty, our kai xin guo, our most gentle and 文静 friend.
although she didnt talk much, i know she has all of us in her heart.
we know she cares for us, loves us, and cherishes us even though she didnt really said it to us.
knew her ever since secondary one. although i was nt very close with her then, she really gives me an deep impression on how a girl shld behave. gentle and caring.
she's very hardworking. especially during the exam periods, i always see her taking out her own written notes and trying to memorise the facts.
secondary two to four, is the period in which i had established a closer friendship with her. i still remember that i sat beside her during chinese class in secondary two, if i didnt remember wrong.
and our whole clique always go out together all these years.
we took lots of neoprints together, and also took lots of photos with our handphones.
secondary three and four. she was my amaths buddy.
whenever either of us has any qns, we would ask each other.
sometimes we even copied each other's work.
remembered that we always walked home together after our amaths lessons. talking about school, homework and complaining of this and that in sch, although we parted at the school gate.
i still remember she had a panda white pencil box, followed by a giant pencil box with cows' design on it and it has almost everything inside necessary for writing, drawing and decorating.
i remember that during our chalet in 2007, we went city hall there de lan shop late at night to play online games.. aft that when we left the place, it was pouring. we dashed to the nearest mrt station, which was clarke quay mrt station. we were so tired that we took a nap there while waiting for the mrt system to start operating.. whenever i passed by that particular spot, i was always reminded about wad happened on that particular day.
red cross. almost everyone in the clique is in this cca. we enjoyed our time alot although we get scoldings and punishments sometimes. bt she really did the tasks that were given to her, and she was a great first aid main I/C.
i last went out on last wednesday with her, sinning and steph. we were planning to buy fbt shorts and sinning wanted to buy new year clothes.
so we toured around queensway shopping centre to find the cheapest fbt shorts there. we walked round and round and round and round. Alvina and i managed to get the colours of the shorts that we wanted at one particular shop. the shopkeeper even wished us good luck for our o lvl results.
after that, we went to ikea to eat the fish n chips in the restaurant there. bt only friday have. so i brought them to eat wanton mee at my prev home there which i missed it the last time i went there.
following, we went to meet steph at bugis and we shopped for CNY clothes. bt we didnt buy much. we went to vivo after that. steph and sinning bought tshirts for their boyfriends at ip zone.
after shopping, steph left and we went to the hawker centre for dinner. actually we wanted to eat diff things. bt in the end, all of us ate the lor mee there. remembered that Alvina bought a big cup of sugar cane juice.
i last talked to her last saturday, on msn after receiving my edusave scholarship. she asked me about the poly open hses, hw was it, etc. i asked her which poly she wants to go. she said tp. i said it is very far, sure ar? she said, xi guan jiu hao.
although she looks and behaves as a very gentle girl, she's very strong-willed. she never complains about her pain and her condition. she faces life in a very positive manner. that's one very important thing that we should learn from her.
Alvina Tan Wan Ling. She passed away on 13 January 2009, 2.13am. She was cremated in Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium on 13 January 2009, 3.45pm, witnessed by her family, relatives, friends, teachers and classmates.

after this, i've realized that life is fragile and unpredictable.
anyone can leave anytime, without any warning at all.
Alvina has taught us, to always stay happy and strong.
and also to cherish everyone around us.
Alvina, thx for all the happy memories that u've left for us.
we'll always remember u. u'll always live in our hearts.
