4E1 SL PROJECT ON LAST SAT WAS FUN AND EXHILRATING!
haha.. first, some of us met up at boon lay mrt stn..
and we set off to jurong east mrt stn..
the rest of the class were there..
and we set off tgt to loving hearts centre..
we are the ppl in blue! haha.. as our class tee is blue in colour! xP
boarded a public bus there..
and guess wad? the upper deck is full of 4e1 students.. haha
yup.. finally, we reached our 'destination'
we waited there for quite long..
until wilson, our organiser said that we were at the wrong branch.. xP
bt we split into grps before knowing that we were at the wrong centre..
so we didnt waste our time there..
as a result, we couldnt brief the children at the centre and board the bus with the children..
so, we boarded a different bus..
to vivo! and up to the sky train..
the weather didnt look gd
aft that, wilson and the committee briefed everyone about the trip..
and we set off to the sky train..
first time c the sky train so packed..
haha.. full of the children and us..
we had quite alot of fun while boarding the train there..
finally.. our destination.. beach stn in sentosa!
bt the weather looked worser =X
hwever, we still set off to dolphin lagoon as it didnt rain yet..
and colin finaly came.. he thought that we were meeting at sch's cybercafe..
we boarded the yellow line bus to dolphin lagoon..
and sang cheers in the bus.. haha
reached dolphin lagoon..
so we settled dwn to wait for the dolphin show to start..
unfortunately, it rained..
we continued to stay inside the shelter..
and the rain gt even heavier..
the wind was strong and cold too..
our slogan, "we can be wet, bt nt the children"
as alot of us brought umbrellas, we shielded the children frm the rain..
mini rivers started to form as the rain gt heavier..
which was a clear sight of coastal erosion..
and of course, we gt drenched.. very drenched..
i've nv gt so drenched before..
everyone was practically shivering in cold..
when the rain gt abit lighter, wilson went to get a giant Walls umbrella to transport us into a more suitable and warm shelter..
everyone was transported to the shelter..
and he bought hot milo for us to prevent us frm getting sick..
ms wang bought tshirt for all of us too..
it was very expensive.. one cost $25.. omg..
thx ms wang and wilson ^^
the rain gt lighter and lighter..
so we went out to wash our shoes as all of us were wearing covered shoes..
and we can also c many shoes hanging around near the water tap.. haha
we went into the gift shop to get slippers..
bt cnt choose the size.. there were only some slippers there..
luckily, i managed to buy one pair..
hmm.. while waiting for the nxt show, we led the children to play some simple games in the shelter..
it's a version of scissors paper stone game.. where the loser have to spread his or her legs and the winner have to step one step behind..
some of the children wanted to go to the washroom..
so we fetched them there.. to and fro..
the rain gt alot lighter..
and it was lunchtime..
the guys went to get our mac for us..
and the rest of us helped to distribute the food..
we went back to the stage de shelter to wait for the nxt show while eating..
the children looked delighted x)
finally, the dolphin show started..
the 2 dolphins were super talented..
can do alot of things.. spin ard, jump out of water, hold the ball with their snouts, nod and shake their heads..
haha.. peiqin gt a chance to touch the dolphins..
yup.. and she went to touch them.. the dolphins sure look happy x)
soon, the show ended.. and we set off to our nxt destination..
underwater world! we took a photo at the entrance..
and we went in..
it was my first time to underwater world.. as well as to the dolphin lagoon..
the underwater world was nt wad i've imagined..
it's bigger.. i initially thought that there was a tunnel only..
saw alot of diff kinds of sea creatures.. quite interesting..
took alot of photos of the sea creatures..
went solo travelling as i was part of the committee.. who dont nid to bring any children with them..
fun and peaceful.. can go anywhere i want.. haha
so i just took photos of wad i saw..
finally, time's up.. we assembled outside the underwater world..
and we saw monkeys and peacocks on the roof..
haha.. the monkeys were very mischievious.. they were bullying the peacocks..
took a photo of them..
finally, it was time to go back to loving hearts..
we boarded the bus back..
everyone looked super exhausted..
some were slping in the bus.. and i was chatting with mengzhe.. haha
aft reaching loving hearts, wilson gave a debrief to everyone..
the grp photo gt developed and delivered..
so all of us help to pt the photos in the photoframes that we had decorated the last time..
and we helped to distribute the goodie bags and photoframes to the children..
they looked very happy.. they must have enjoyed this trip ^^
the teacher in charge of the children and the children wished us all the best for our o lvls.. thx ^^
and yes! we will be going for another trip with these children in dec to the zoo!
looking forward to that day..
the children were dismissed..
and the whole class stayed back for the debrief..
the teacher in charge, ms wang and wilson was touched by wad we've done for the children..
and they were very happy wad we've done too..
ms wang and wilson said that we've grown up these last (near to) 2 years..
as ms wang is 3e1 and 4e1's form cher, wilson was also our organiser in our sec3 sl project..
and we became more united too.. yay!!
the organisers had a surprise for us..
they have also decorated the photoframes and presented it to all of us.. thx ^^
aft that, the committee stayed back for a final debrief..
yup.. and so we settled on another sl project to the zoo in dec..
and wilson wanted to treat us to a meal one of these days in the holidays..
we gt him to fill the sl project feedback form..
yay! we gt A+ for out sl project!!

finally, we were all dismissed..
woohoo! it's the most meaningful day ever!
cnt believe that we can actually do all this..
"if we think that we can, we can" !!!
bt all these would nt be possible with wilson's and his helpers' help, ms wang's support..
the 3 nights spent in the multi service centre getting everything ready was worth it.. we went home at about 10+pm every night..
the committee had alot of fun while getting everything ready too..
we laughed, we complained, we sang songs tgt, gt everything ready tgt..
really forged out a bond with the committee..
peiqin, zishan, eunice, elizabeth, jamie, colin and rashid..
on the last day of the meeting, wilson was quite late..
so we chatted and had fun at the fitness corner near the centre..
elizabeth and eunice took a video of us..
we looked really funny in it.. haha
some of the photoframes gt rejected as they were nt up to standard..
so we took out all deco frm the frame and we did everything all over again..
we also packed the goodie bags, wrapped the gifts, produced tags and booklets for everyone..
although it was tiring, it was FUN and of course, VERY MEANINGFUL.. xP

unfortunately, i've deleted some accidentally.. and they were the nicest ones.. omg..
and hps do nt have any recycle bins too..
nvm.. it's ok.. as long as the things i see still remains in my memory ^^
