everyone thought that there will be phy test that day..
bt.. mr chian was nt in sch! haha..
the whole class cheered.. because there's no test!
and alot of us were still unsure whether did we really understand the topic..
speech by our principal.. he said the speech day was a very gd one..
almost flawless.. except when nearing the ending of the prize giving part..
speech by ms ho too.. on the upcoming MYE..
actually dont really recall wad happened..
bt during ss lesson.. i remembered that i was very tired =X
ya.. phy+chem enrichment..
i was lazy to move to the centre of the classroom..
where phy+chem enrichment ppl are supposed to sit in..
so i remained in my seat.. which is where the phy ppl are sitting in..
during the chem session.. the phy ppl are doing the phy work..
bt.. haha.. super funny..
wm wrote 0 for all his answers..
he seemed so professional when doing the qns..
no one thought that he would do that..
and rashid kept laughing because of that..
wm's bks fell onto the floor..
and rashid laughed again..
i have to admit.. that i laughed too.. =X

I LOST MY PHY WORKBOOK!
it's nt with mr chian..
it's nt at home too.. dont tell me that i have to do the whole bk...?
OMGOSH.
we've finished the syllabus for maths and amaths..
so nw, we're doing revision..
really gt my memory back..
geog.. also finishing le..
nw we're on the food consumption topic..
carried some bks home as we were required to clear our table..
had the most number of bks to bring to sch that day..
glad to receive the help frm my mum and classmates.. thx!
bio lesson.. we did expt planning again..
we are so sick of it nw..
chem do.. phy do.. bio also must do..
mdm chan said that my approach was too long..
i cnt refrain myself frm writing alot.. xP
will try to shorten it nxt time..
chem.. i left out the section A of the TYS..
i only did ppr 1.. =X
some of us left it out too..
so we did the whole of section A on the spot as mdm lock was taking our bks and flashing the ans on the visualizer..
luckily that i had almost done everything when it's my turn..
she was quite angry with us..
as she had discovered that some of us didnt do..
there was no maths and amaths that day!
so i finished all my undone work during the maths periods..
esp my compre.. luckily that i had finished it on time..
it's supposed to be handed in that day.. bt i didnt do it the night before..
i did maths instead =X
EL period.. super funny period..
mr paul was going through the common mistakes in sit writing..
some were very funny..
and one of the mistakes was the mistake that i had made..
'propose' became 'purpose'.. i always mix them up..
the other mistakes..
'favourably' became 'flavourably'
'surfing the net' became 'serving the net'
mr paul's descriptions and actions were really funny and the whole class laughed..
maybe he used this way to help us distress..
aft sch, as there was no amaths, we used the time to settle our bio SPA file..
hope my file is ok..
reached home.. bt feeling very tired due to the carrying of bks..
hwever, still must study EL..
so study study and study..
memorised the format for various kinds of situational writing..
esp formal letter, proposal report and speech..
compo.. memorised the vivid verbs and hw to have diff kind of sentence structures..
compre.. memorised the question types and hw these questions looked like..
summary.. tried to find more words and expressions to condense and generalise..
that night, i really hope that things will turn well the nxt day for the exam..
and i felt somewad contradicted..
i was nt sure whether i was prepared for tmr's exam, or the other way round..
EL MYE!
really felt nervous at the beginning..
for fear that the ppr this time will be tough as inferred frm wad mr paul had said to the class..
we got back to our class.. seated in the arrangement..
and waited impatiently for the ppr to land onto our hands..
once i gt the ppr, i tried to read the one word qn for the compo frm the cover pg..
there it is.. the topic is PEACE.
felt really relieved when i saw this word..
as i had a story in my mind..
it was quite historical though.. it was based on the history of sg..
i wrote about the racial riots that took place way back in 21/7/64.. =X
luckily that i can rmb the year it took place..
and my ending of the story sounded as if i was doing a reflection form..
it's always the same line.. 'nv take the peace and stability we have in sg for granted'
also pt part of the national pledge inside.. bt duno whether correct or nt xP
anyways, it's ok..
situational writing.. proposal report!
topic is on the programme the o lvl students shld take part in to improve their EL..
i chose the study groups out of EL camp and IT-based lessons..
just think that study groups is better.. although it might be boring..
my ending format duno correct or nt..
i'm nt sure whether shld i write student or chairperson and students council or sec 4e1 for organisation and position.. so i just signed, wrote my class and date..
hope it's nt too big a mistake..
some of us also duno wad organisation and position to write too..
break! ate.. and revised for ppr 2 again..
the canteen was really crowded with ppl..
think the whole sch was all in the canteen..
the bell goes..
time for ppr 2!
was nervous again..
bt i still have to face the ppr..
scanned through the passage while checking through the pgs..
and so, we began..
the topic this time was quite interesting..
passage A was on wad would happen if all humans were being wiped out frm the earth one day.. this is sth that i seldom thought of..
passage B was on time travelling.. the author went into year 3029..
and he met apes which were armoured and armed.. and could even talk in human language..
scared that i might run out of time..
i tried to read both passages twice..
den started on the qns..
i'm glad that i was able to identify most of the question types of the qns..
this time the compre qns were ok..
and the vocab qns were easier..
i was left with about 50mins for the summary..
wrote the summary..
and when i counted the words, i was shocked..
i didnt overshot the word limit like wad i usually did!
only had 142 words! i usually overshot the word limit when i wrote the first draft.. it usually reached near to 200 words..
~phew~
was left with about 15mins aft finishing the ppr..
checked through them.. and tried to add some words to the summary..
it became 149 words in the end..
end of EL MYE! 2 pprs dwn! 1 subject down!
bt there are still 14pprs and 8 more subjects to go..
nvm.. it will soon be over..
